Friday's symposium, for personal trainers, yoga and dance instructors, massage therapists, and other fitness professionals, will be held at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Brookline, Mass. Saturday's symposium, for nurses, physician assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, CDT-certified lymphedema therapists, exercise physiologists, and medical exercise specialists, will be held at Boston University's Kenmore Class Room Building, 565 Commonwealth Avenue.
The conferences were developed in order to address risk factor identification methods, injury prevention techniques, and safety guidelines for breast cancer exercise and rehabilitation protocols.
